History

VEGA systems were established in 2001 by Mr Eugene van Vugt and Mr. Ad van Geffen in Oss, Netherlands.
In 2003 Mr. Mo Bufus joined them as the 3rd shareholder and completing the management team.

The company started with development and construction of feeders, folders and conveyor systems. Besides the production of new machines, revisions of AMKO machines were a big part of the turnover as well.

Over the years we’ve developed at least five new machines each and every year, resulting in a complete range of feeders, folders, towel folders, conveyors and so on.

In 2001 the company was located at the Dommelstraat 37 in Oss, Netherlands. After four years we began with the construction of our first building, at Lauwersmeer 9 in Oss, Netherlands.
In 2005, the building was finished and we moved our operation there. By 2008 we built a second factory, and in 2011 a third, which in the end gave us a total production space of 8000 m².

In the meantime we acquired in 2012 the company BW laundry systems GmbH, which had factories in Germany and in Thailand. In these factories all of the machines from VEGA Wash Technology are built.

In 2013 we opened our fourth factory, which is in Wuhan China, where we build feeders and folders mainly for the local Chinese market.

When the company was founded in 2001, the first contacts were made with various dealers worldwide. This allowed us to cover and maintain our presence in over 50 countries.

With some of our dealers this cooperation resulted in the creation of local VEGA systems sales and after-sales offices.
